Leading manufacturer of heated clothing
At Nordic Heat, we have a passion for life expression - for giving people the freedom to do what they love without letting the cold limit them. Since 2012, we've been dedicated to developing and refining battery heated clothing, and today we're proud to be Europe's leading manufacturer in the field. Our products are used by everyone from craftsmen and hunters to athletes and adventurers - and even Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible 8.
From chunky batteries (year 1998) to high-tech thermal clothing
However, our journey began much earlier. Back in 1998, our founder first encountered battery heated gloves. Back then, the batteries were big and bulky and only lasted 15 minutes - yet it was a revolution that showed the potential of the technology's development.
As a passionate trolling fisherman, our founder has experienced the biting consequences of the cold himself. Countless fishing trips ended with white, numb fingers and an interrupted hobby simply because the cold got the better of him. There had to be a better way! With that mission, Nordic Heat was born, and we've been driven by a vision to give people the freedom to move and enjoy their activities - without freezing.
Keeping people moving - not sitting still
Our battery heated clothing isn't just for comfort - it keeps people active and gives them the freedom to do what they love, whatever the temperature. This means hunters can stay in the woods longer, craftsmen can do their work without feeling cold, and athletes and adventurers can enjoy their hobby all year round. Instead of sitting inside behind a screen, our products allow people to live their lives without letting the cold limit them.
More heat - bigger heating zones
Nordic Heat's products stand out by having the largest heating zones on the market. Where many other solutions only heat small areas, we've designed our garments to provide maximum coverage and effect. That's why our products always come with our own 7.4V or 12V batteries that are specifically designed to provide enough power for the large heating zones.
Ordinary 5V power banks are simply not powerful enough to power our heating zones - and that difference is what makes Nordic Heat the best solution for those who really need to stay warm.
Focus on innovation, quality and sustainability
We design and develop all our battery heated clothing in close collaboration with engineers and specialists. Our products are manufactured in ISO-certified factories where 80% of the energy comes from green sources and where staff have good working conditions at least equal to European standards.
Every product undergoes a thorough quality and safety check before it leaves the factory. We test heat output, material quality and battery safety, so our customers can be confident that they are getting a product that is safe, reliable and durable. It's not a cost-free process - but we accept no compromise when it comes to quality and safety. This means that our products may not be the cheapest on the market, but our customers can trust that they are getting the best solution to stay warm and active, season after season.

Fishermen and hunters love warm clothing from Fredensborg

Visiting Nordic Heat in Fredensborg. From left Aage Andersen from Fredensborg Trade and Crafts Association, Alex Berg Eiding and Maria Borg from Nordic Heat (note the small buttons on the left chest where you turn on and adjust the heat), Lars Søndergaard and Thomas Lykke Pedersen, committee chairman and mayor respectively.
Pressing the button on the left chest activates the small heating wires in the garment, so the cold in the body quickly disappears. It is popular with fishermen, hunters, riders and many others who work or practice their hobby outside in all kinds of weather.
Nordic Heat in Fredensborg is therefore very successful in selling their specially designed clothing, where the many small carbon fiber threads are heated via a small rechargeable battery.
Husband and wife Maria Borg and Alex Berg Eiding are the founders of Nordic Heat, which started up in 2012, where they established a good relationship with the best supplier:
"Over the years, we have developed a close and trusting collaboration with the various factories, where we constantly expand and improve the collection to suit the customers' wishes and needs. Safety and quality are our highest priority," says Alex Berg Eiding.
Mayor Thomas Lykke Pedersen and committee chairman Lars Søndergaard attended the company visit - and both were impressed by the products:
"It's fascinating to see how a company like Nordic Heat grows and develops because they manage to maintain close contact with both suppliers and customers, so everyone experiences quality and value," says Thomas Lykke Pedersen.
"Nordic Heat is a good example of an innovative family business that finds its own place in a market that is otherwise characterized by a few well-known and very large manufacturers of outdoor clothing," says Lars Søndergaard.
